"The Ultimate Fighter: Live" on FX posted the lowest ratings in series history, with a number of factors leading to a heavily decreased viewership all season long. That trend continued for the Finale event last Friday night, as MMAJunkie.com reports that the card drew just one million viewers on average to FX for the three-hour broadcast.
Of the eight live main card and preliminary card broadcasts that have aired on FX in 2012, Friday's broadcast came in seventh, above only the preliminary card for UFC 142 in January, which was the first fights the UFC broadcast on the network.
Friday's Finale event saw Michael Chiesa defeat Al Iaquinta to become the latest Ultimate Fighter winner. Additionally, Martin Kampmann knocked out Jake Ellenberger in the night's main event.
