Those expecting fireworks at today's UFC 148 pre-event press conference weren't disappointed.

After trading barbs during the hourlong media event, UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and fellow UFC 148 headliner Chael Sonnen went their separate ways.

But not before the UFC's cameras caught the duo's intense staredown, which prompted intervention from UFC president Dana White and other officials.
