NEW YORK - Hector Lombard might put himself on the fast track to a title bout in the UFC by winning his debut this summer. Recently signed to MMA's largest promotion after steamrolling opponents in Bellator Fighting Championships for two years, Lombard could find himself challenging for a title belt if he beats Brian Stann, said Dana White, president of UFC parent Zuffa.
That would give Lombard one of the fastest paths to a UFC title for any athlete since Brock Lesnar in 2008.
